MOVED… this content is now moved to www.carmelife.net.  Nothing new will be posted here.  I will be editing, experimenting, and adjusting things on the new server so you can still use this site as it is.  The formation site (link below) is still currently active.  I will post a notice here and there when that content has been moved.  All of the content that was on this site at the time of the move will remain and be available until all the “bugs” are worked out on the new site.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Liturgy of the Hours links are now in Home drop down menu above.

Members LOGIN here to publish to the site.  We are an OCDS Community.   Br. Bryan Paquette OCD, Our Spiritual Assistant from the Washington province of our Discalced Carmelite order, attends our meetings.   We are Catholic laity living the spirituality of the Teresian Carmelites.  We meet on the second Saturday of each month.  For more information about times and location of meetings please email formation@carmelife.com.   We want to share Carmelite spirituality through this website.  Pages, for members only, require a community password.  We also maintain a site for Formation.  The Icon Queen Beauty of Carmel was written by one of our former members.

If you have a desire for a more intimate relationship with God through a deeper form of prayer, God may be calling you to the spirituality of Carmel; the spirituality of Saints Teresa of Avila, John of the Cross and Therese of Lisieux.  Their writings are available from ICS Publilications.  If you want to respond to the desire of  your heart for God, please explore our brochure and our websites.  If you are wondering if you might be called to the order as a friar, nun, or lay member, contact us at formation@carmelife.com.

If the menus do not work for you to get to what you are looking for, you can click “Sitemap” under Home to see all the pages in outline form and navigate to any of them from there.

  1. I have posted both videos and the TV report together now.
